Welcome to Lorain County 4-H!

4-H has something for just about everyone, wherever in the city, township or in rural parts of the county. 4-H is where the learning and fun is! Kids can join a 4-H club, camp or take part in county fair. There are lots of activities, from animals to outdoor adventure, shooting sports, food and nutrition to science and photography. Young people have an array of choices in their 4-H experience. Adults and teens can volunteer. Learn more about 4-H ... You might be surprised by what 4-H has to offer!

The purpose of 4-H is to foster skill development in young people. Youth are given opportunities to select from a variety of programs and projects. Individuality is valued, and each person is encouraged to discover his or her own skills, talents and interests. 4-H helps young people learn to make decisions, think critically, build relationships, practice leadership and develop a concern for their community and their world.
