Current office hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Closed daily during the lunch hour from 12:00 Noon - 1:00 p.m. Due to limited staffing, off-site programs, staff appointments the office may experience an unforeseen disruption of regular office hours. Jr. Fair Fowl Clinic
Saturday, August 2nd – 10:00 a.m. Clinic (held in Cow Palace) Pullorum Testing following clinic in Show Ring #9 Lorain County Fairgrounds, Wellington Christine Balint, Jr. Fair Board Fowl Department Chair, Robin & Jessica Zurcher and Rich Snyder are presenting a fowl clinic open to all ages and skill levels relating to all fowl projects including chickens, turkeys, waterfowl, and pigeons. This clinic will be focusing on show tactics as well as general care and questions. Participants can bring a bird if they would like assistance with learning how to exhibit. There will be pullorum testing following the clinic (no turkey testing). Jr. Fair Exhibitors who do not have a hatchery certificate whose animal(s) need a pullorum test will want to be sure to attend this testing opportunity. $2.00 per bird.
