Insects During the Winter
Insects survive Ohio winters in several ways. Some overwinter as eggs, others as pupa (cocoons) and still other types of insects spend the winter as juveniles or adults. When the weather turns cool, this last group begins to look for a protected spot to give them the greatest chance of living until next spring.
