This document includes a description of the application process, examples, and forms for 4-H Clubs in Lorain County.
This document provides the standard operating procedures (SOP) for all Lorain County 4-H Shows, Horse Shows, and Dog Shows.
2023 4-H Animal Schools
The Lorain County 4-H Animal School's objective is to provide a safe, fun, and hands-on opportunity for 4-H animal project members with their animals. Youth will gain knowledge and skills from well-respected and approved experts in various Interest Areas. Interest areas will rotate each year.

4-H Teen Ambassadors
Who: Any 4-H member ages 12 and up
What: The 4-H Educational Board is looking for youth interested in participating in fun hands-on learning and sharing what they learn regarding 4-H projects. Youth applying for this opportunity will choose from five different project areas including Large Animal, Small Animal, Family & Consumer Sciences (food & clothing projects), Ag & Still Life, or Horse. Ambassadors will have the opportunity to participate in state and local training in subjects specific to their project areas as well as in leadership, teamwork, and communication.
When: Quarterly Ambassador meetings will include leadership training, general meeting, and project area break-out meetings.
